An unconventional building with an intellectual design, in the heart of Milan: 64 rooms and suites combine two philosophies which are unlikely but successful part¬ners: extreme hi-tech functionality with a minimalist feel and the warm, intimate atmosphere of rooms designed with elegant, innovative materials like quarry-rough slate, burnished brass, concrete and iron, gauze-effect glass and mirrors aged by hand, along with furnishings specially designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis.

The new events room, situated in front of the restaurant and the hall on the ground floor, further extends the hotel’s communal spaces that are also dedicated to events such as art shows, openings, cocktails and photo shoots. Equipped with a mega screen for video projections and conferences, it is also adapted for use as a show room thanks to the modulation and originality of the furniture and to the screen’s chromatic changeability.

Bar STRAF has an intense and exciting atmosphere; it offers me¬ticulous all day bar and restaurant services set in an attractive¬ly decorated ambience where artistic features such as recycled fibreglass panels and original 1970s furnishings are brought toge¬ther. The music is an eclectic combination of vintage sounds for the daytime with more lively and vibrant tracks from dusk onwards. Bar STRAF is patronised by both local and international clientele.
The lively happy hour extends late into the evening offering the¬me nights with live music or a DJ set. Sunday brunch is a fi¬xed appointment throughout the winter months though it fini¬shes for the summer leaving the menu à la carte to take its place.
